Don't Settle for Six Foot Angels(reposted from a previous blog)

My new motto is " don't settle for six foot angels." This statement definitely begs for some explanation. It originated from a video that I saw posted on facebook. It described a move of God that took place while Jason Upton was singing. If your interested you can find it on youtube. Search for Jason Upton sings with angel and watch the testimony video. One part speaks of someone seeing a twelve foot angel.


After I watched this video I was discussing it with a brother at church and I said,"I want to see a twelve foot angel. I'd settle for a six foot angel." Immediately I was corrected in my spirit. God told me I shouldn't settle for a six foot angel. That is limiting God. I expect to wake up any night now with a six foot angel at the foot of my bed laughing and pointing saying, "You could have had a twelve foot angel if you hadn't settled!"

My point is not what size angel to expect. When you expect something from God take what He has for you. Don't settle for less than He wants to give you because of your human nature.
